Biomedical Engineer

The incumbent will perform the following duties:
Program management of NUVOLO - CMMS development, rollout and sustainment at V22 sites Coordination and dedicated involvement with national HTM Program Office for direction, guidance and structure of CMMS systems VISN 22 Manager for development of CMMS core functionality, management and implementation Provides guidance to V22 facilities for implementation Develops training and resources for education of CMMS systems for support users such as Biomedical Engineering, Facilities Maintenance and Environmental Management System Configuration - initial and sustainment Standards development to include Policy and SOP at a VISN level with cooperative service lines Function as a part of national IPT regarding EHRM and CMMS initiatives Assist and Consult on national teams in developing the scope and function of a national service desk to service CMMS and EHRM support VISN 22 POC for EHRM integration with clinical leadership and national HTM PMO directives Work Schedule:

GS-14 Level:
Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Engineering. To be creditable, the curriculum must be from a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), as a professional engineering curriculum. Examples of acceptable engineering degrees include:
Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Biochemical Engineering. Titles may vary from educational institutions and change over time. OR Ability to apply advanced knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, guidelines, and standards associated with biomedical engineering to support the needs of multiple facilities. Ability to effectively convey highly technical information to a wide variety of individuals, including technical and professional clinical staff, and senior level managers at the facility, VISN and/or national level. Ability to manage a recall and safety alert program for medical devices, including medical device incident investigations to assure compliance with patient safety goals, SMDA, and TJC requirements for multiple facilities. Ability to apply advanced knowledge of principles, theories, concepts, and practices of biomedical engineering. This would include the ability to keep abreast of changes in technology and utilize the information gained in the solution of biomedical engineering problems to meet operational needs of multiple facilities. Ability to directly support the most complex and specialized clinical technology including service, system administration, training, and quality assurance for multiple facilities. Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines, senior management, VHA Central Office, and VISN staff. OR Certification as a Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE) and a bachelor's degree not listed in item above. References:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
