Under general supervision of the ALTCS Specialist this position will perform administrative work of average difficulty. This position will enter information submitted by the District into a variety of data sources including Microsoft Access and Mainframe applications at AHCCCS (CATS). This position will act as a quality control clerk by ensuring the information is accurate and completed in its entirety. In the event the information is not accurate or complete, this position will be responsible for follow up to ensure accuracy and completeness. This position will be responsible to track submission of required information to the ALTCS Specialists; attend meetings, develop agendas, or take minutes. This position will be required to answer phone calls and know basic information regarding the requirements. Development of reports, summaries, plans, and other correspondence will be required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES (KSA's):
Knowledge of: understanding of Division policies, procedures and processes as well as an understanding of the Arizona Long Term Care System requirements; understanding of the relationship between the Division and the AHCCCS Administration; organizational relationship of DDD to consumers/families, providers, and other agencies; time management principles and techniques; HIPAA rules and regulations; business writing.
Skill in: oral and written communication; tracking deadlines.
Ability to: enter data accurately and completely; quality controls some fairly simple business requirements; plan, coordination, establishes priorities and work fairly independently.
IDEAL/PREFERRED CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have a combination of education, training and experience in administration or professional experience that equals one (1) year.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
