Service Engineer / PHP Developer (f/m)

Your Tasks
- Help online merchants get on board and set up their account
- Support online merchants at the technical interface between their shops and the Shopgate system
- Develop custom solutions for clients that leverage Shopgates API
- Overview of the current integration and development status
- Establish and monitor Interfaces
- Provide technical expertise and problem solving to troubleshoot customer issues
- Regularly interact with the core development team responsible for creating and packaging the developer API and tools
- Work with Sales Managers to identify requirements for customer implementation
- Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the customer community
- Ensure customer satisfaction and core responsibility to provide excellent service at all times
Your Profile
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent
- An Experienced Level 2 Support Engineer, specifically with experience supporting API based solutions
- Solid software developer and debugging skills, with experience in PHP and MySQL
- Deep understanding of the Web technology stack (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Ability to translate customers requirements into technical solutions
- Self-starter who is excited about technology
- Open to working shifts
- Nice to Have: Experience in e-commerce
