Accounting Associate (m/f)

Your Tasks
Managing daily bank account balances (cash receipts/disbursements, forecasting)
Reconciling bank statements
Preparatory accounting (e.g. processing and archiving of incoming invoices)
Preparing and maintaining monthly financial reports and business analysis
Resolving and processing customers purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation in ccordination with the sales department
Process bi-weekly payroll with our payroll office; mainly ensure that all payroll information and deductions such as salary, comission and benefits are accurate before submitting to our payroll office
Communication with banks, tax consultants, external payroll accountants and lawyers
Close cooperation with our Accounting Team in Germany
Support for Human Resource Management through administration of vacation - and disease days
Handle general secretarial and office duties such as purchase orders, travel bookings and arrangements of meetings
Your Profile
Associates Degree or higher in Accounting, Business or related field
Two or more years of experience in a small to medium sized business
Demonstrated knowledge of accounting practices such as cash posting or billing and general payroll practices
High degree of initiative with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Highly responsible and reliable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
Nice to have: Experience in an international environment
