The Graphic Designer is responsible for preparing marketing collateral, company communications and other visual company representations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Research products and/or services to positively impact design ideas.
Conceptualize, develop and finish artwork to premium presentation quality.
Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout to the Creative Director for approval.
Create graphics for the corporate website and WMC social media sites.
Build "html" e-mails
Responsible for obtaining quotes from vendors and partnering with vendors of choice on all printed materials.
Define, characterize and verbally communicate solution design at both a business and a creative level.
Prepare electronic files for printing and finishing operations.
Develop and maintain electronic files of projects and image resources.
Maintain contact with customers and service providers relative to deadlines, procedures, proofing and other information.
Design, layout and electronically produce internal and external promotional and marketing materials including brochures, advertisements, fliers, handbooks, and other informational/promotional materials.
Review and/or edit information for various materials for accuracy, clarity, and readability to be consistent with established brand standards.
Maintain storage closet and keep an accurate inventory of items.
Ship inventory to various branches as needed.
Create images from various sources into digital formats. Manipulate images using computer technology to achieve desired effects.

Individuals in this position shall not engage in loan origination during the course of his/her employment with WMC. Loan origination is defined as (1) taking a residential mortgage loan application; or (2) offering or negotiating terms of a residential mortgage loan for compensation or gain.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) along with 2 years of college or trade school courses in graphic design and/or marketing.

The ideal candidate will also have a thorough knowledge of (and creative skill) in graphic design including layout, color, typography, etc. This individual must also have a general comprehension of "html".

COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in Adobe CS .5., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Dreamweaver.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Good grammar and diction. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

In addition, this individual needs to have a working knowledge of terminology.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS: Using excellent customer service skills which includes maintaining a good attitude, taking ownership of meeting customer needs, going the "extra mile" for customers, demonstrating a commitment to sharpening skills through education and training, using positive communication, and looking for opportunities to respect customers' time and schedules.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
